Sponsors | $25 from Ky, Fla. -- and a mystery state

I'm delighted to acknowledge $25 in contributions from Kentucky, Florida and a state that wasn't identified. With advertising sales, that brings me to 59% of my quarterly goal. With just one month left, here's the breakdown:
  • Reader donations: $635
  • Advertising: $1,722
I'm trying to earn $4,000 quarterly, through donations of $5 per reader, plus advertising sales. Please use the PayPal "Donate" tool in the green rail, upper right. Or mail cash and checks payable to: Jim Hopkins, 584 Castro St. #823, San Francisco, Calif., 94114-2594.

  2. Apparently, 10:57 AM is unaware of how public television stations raise funds or better yet, how Gannett incessantly bombards its former subscribers and people who’ve never even expressed any interest at all in its papers. Too funny.

  3. 11:22 they also have LOTS of corporate sponsors And support from the Federal Govt. So who can tryst them. Bad example. Begging is begging and a poor business model. How dies he support himself in the most expensive city in America on 16 grand a year? Now that's funny

Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."
