Gannett's legendary retired CEO doesn't much like former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw's new book, Boom! Al Neuharth compares it unfavorably to Brokaw's famous best-seller. "Its 611 pages could have been better told in something like the 390 pages Brokaw used for The Greatest Generation."Underedited? This from a man who claims prime USA Today real estate because, I suspect, he's got a deal guaranteeing it?
