KTHV | Just-hired news anchor killed in car crash

Matt Turner joined the CBS affiliate in Little Rock only last month, the station said, in announcing his Saturday night death after a crash in Benton, southwest of the city. He was 32.

State police said his vehicle ran off Interstate 30 and hit a highway sign, according to the station.

  1. Dear Turner family and KTHV staff,

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

  2. So sorry to hear about this. Defintiely puts all the petty crap in perspective.

  3. Jim, thank you for sharing such a beautiful tribute.
