From a statement issued earlier today:
Gannett announced Rose Mills has been named senior vice president/national sales for U.S. Community Publishing. Mills previously served as senior director of sales for the West Region of PopSugar Media, a brand of media company Sugar Inc.
She will report to Mary Murcko, Gannett’s president of sales, and will be based in Chicago.

Allure, Glamour, Victoria, Cosmo, and now USCP? Something doesn't add up here.

Why base her in Chicago, other than the fact that she already works there?

Banikarim and Murcko better hurry up and drive some revenue. Kramer wants to hire big talent and there is no money. Unless he fires about 35 VPs that do nothing.

ReplyDeleteLeslie and Michelle are focused on non-national advertising strategies and sales performance at the local level. Same with the sales excellence teams at corporate.
Chicago, LA, New York really doesn't matter. But, I ask again: Cosmo, Allure, Victoria, Glamour and now USCP? Parking spot.
