  2. 3:18 refers to the DMP's senior vice president for digital and client solutions, a post Kelly has held since March 2009, according to her LinkedIn profile.

  3. Agree with 3:18. It will be Patricia Kelly. This has been in the works for a long time, probably since Hunke came onboard at USAT.

  5. DMP's next leader will be a blast from the past. Derek Osenenko.

  6. Osenenko is a monster.

  7. Doubt it, on both counts.

  8. Tricia Kelly is an unimaginative bean counter that sucks the life out of small children and pets. I pity anyone who has to work with her.

Then again, it's just more of the "accountants in charge" mentality from Martore: Saleh, Maslowski, Motiff, and now Kelly. How ironic that the reins of the company are being given to the support staff.

  9. In e-mails from readers, several people have suggested that Paul Anger -- currently the Freep's top editor -- could move up to CEO.

  10. That would be interesting. But Ed Humphrey is the guy, coming back home.

  11. I'm told Hunke will be attending a 10 a.m. local time meeting in Detroit today to announce Ellwood's successor.

  12. Jim, Patricia Kelly actually was promoted last week to replace Janet Hasson who was named Publisher in Westchester.

  13. 10:20 That would appear to rule her out.
