[USAT advertiser's client, right, on tour in undisclosed city]
USA Today's puny ad count is all the more noteworthy when you consider the quality of some of its advertisers. There are colon cleaners, gold bug appeals, and lightning-quick dental implants. And then there's mail-order-bride and "romance tour" operator A Foreign Affair (www.loveme.com). Its classified-sized ad appears today on page 5 of the Money section. "30,000+ Russian, Latin, Asian singles,'' it promises. "Instant contact! Singles tours. Free catalog. Video!"Got an ad worth spotlighting? Please post your replies in the comments section, below. To e-mail confidentially, write jimhopkins[at]gmail[dot-com]; see Tipsters Anonymous Policy in the rail, upper right.
And those advertisers probably got a reduced rate to have their published!

ReplyDeleteYou would take those paying advertisers in a heartbeat! And you'd give them big discounts as well.
