Does the ethics policy not apply to payments/services for former executives?
ReplyDeleteDubow requested a 17 percent pay cut from his $1.2 million base salary, or $200,000, from the board of directors, which accepted the request, according to Editor & Publisher. With bonus, compensation and stock awards, Dubow’s total compensation is now about $7.5 million.

ReplyDeleteHeh. Remember how everyone at a local site would freak out when the fat cats were coming in? I never saw the newsroom so clean -- they used to bring in dumpsters, hound us to clean our desks, and bring in the cleaning crews to polish every surface so their overlords would be pleased. I enjoyed ignoring the orders and leaving my desk as the sloppy hellhole it always was.
