Rochester, Des Moines, Wisc., top penetration

The Democrat and Chronicle (left), Gannett's Wisconsin papers, and The Des Moines Register reached the most people in their direct market areas (DMAs) with their papers and websites, says the latest Scarborough Research data; they grabbed the first three spots in Scarborough's report, says Editor & Publisher. Citing the new data, the trade publication says 81% of Rochester adults read the paper or visited its site on a weekly basis.
