I'm test-driving a new comment display format

Google's Blogger publishing platform may have finally fixed the bugs in a format where comments are threaded within comments. For an example, see my first three comments in the thread below.

9 comments:

  1. A reader posts a comment here.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Another reader posts a reply, and it appears directly below.

      Delete
    2. So, do you like this version -- or the old version, where all the comments appear in a single column?

      Delete
    3. Jim...I like this version.

      Delete
    4. Indeed. Better continuity

    5. I like it!

  2. Threaded version is better, as it allows you to reply to specific posts in a more organized way. I still dislike the impossible-to-read spam verifications, though.

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

Note: Only a member of this blog may post a comment.
