GCI webcasts its Wall Street presentation today

This morning, Corporate joins other media companies making presentations to Wall Street stock analysts at the annual UBS Global Media and Communications Conference. Gannett's scheduled start time: 10 a.m. ET; it should last about an hour.

Led by CEO Gracia Martore and other executives, topics to be discussed will include updates on each of of the company's business segments, including CareerBuilder in the digital segment, the company’s digital strategy and its outlook for 2012, according to Corporate.

Corporate is webcasting the event live. Access the webcast here.

As with all such conferences, the most interesting part will be the question-and-answer session -- especially any remarks Martore makes guiding Wall Street on the direction of earnings for the current quarter. She'll no doubt answer questions about the latest plans for cost-cutting.

In a possible bonus appearance, Chief Marketing Officer Maryam Banikarim could be on hand.

  1. Maryam's going to be there? That makes sense since she's clearly controlling much of what goes on around here. Especially at USAT. I hope she's up for the task. So far, there has been no visible signs.
