I've just received $25 from a reader on the East Coast, and $40 from one in the Midwest. Those donations bring me to $3,017 -- or 75% of my quarterly goal.
With just nine days left in the quarter, every dollar counts. The breakdown so far:
- Reader donations: $990
- Advertising: $2,027
