Yes, Virginia, WSJ editors do read USAT: Part 2

Two weeks after picking apart a USA Today trend story, the influential Wall Street Journal opinion pages have swung back in a different article -- this time, in a flattering way.

One of today's op-ed pieces, "The government pay bonus,'' hinges on a March USAT story revealing that federal workers earn substantially higher wages than private sector employees who work the same types of jobs. That March story by staff writer Dennis Cauchon was headlined, "Federal pay ahead of private industry."
