ReplyDeleteBye bye Jimmy. You won't be missed.
ReplyDeleteJim,
ReplyDeleteMy hat's off to you. You started something that Gannett was never able to deal with and reported on the inner doings when no one else would or could.
Through all the ups and downs this was the only place we could turn to for news about what was happening to our employer. For all the noise things reported here were right more often than they were wrong. You'll be missed.
Good luck,

AMEN, BROTHER!
Speak for yourself, 10:23. He will be sorely missed by many.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking about leaving a last comment, that will really shake up GANNETT.
ReplyDeleteJim, Thanks for your time and efforts, this blog has been wonderful for people like me who were let go and I'd like to think, perhaps someone at Gannett may have looked at the blog as a huge version of an exit interview and applied how past employees (and some current) feel. The ability to comment anonymously give us a chance to feel comfortable in our comments. From a corporate perspective, a blog like this is a chance to see what people are thinking and leverage the opportunity to benefit employees.
ReplyDeleteIt's also interesting to note the volume of accurate tips received which shows there are some people in the know who would do things differently and I wish them well.
