Separated at birth? Neuharth vs. Neuharth-Ozgo

One of these women got paid $514,646 in fees and expenses as a member of the Freedom Forum board of trustees from 2000-07, the charity's annual public IRS reports show.

The other
got $100 in monthly child support from Dec. 18, 1963, until she turned 21, according to a copy of an Agreement Compromising Claim for Support of Child Born Out of Wedlock, which she provided to me. The original is filed in Monroe County's Rochester, N.Y.

The individual responsible for these payments declined to discuss the matter when I asked him this morning.

  1. As my wicked grandmother might say, "Those girls favor. He can't deny them."

  2. FYI: This $514,646 is being reported for the first time. It's part of a larger project that I'm about to land. It's amazing.

  3. Do you think Neuharth would consider adopting me? I'm 31, but just as cute as I was when I was a baby. Plus, I have plenty of spare time these days to fill any vacancy on the Freedom Forum board.

I wonder how many other "love" children Big Al has stashed away. He sounds like such a creep.

  4. Who really cares? Big Al is gone.

Isn't there anything at Gannett you can go after? Aren't you our voice? Oh, I forgot; you had your chance earlier today and left it on the table. this will really add to your credibility.

  7. 8:22 Cripes! You are corporate!! Can't do a damn thing without a mission statement. Let's work on it for a few months THEN start doing something.

  8. Ah- big Al would take objection that you are lumping him in with anyone who ever had a management position with Gannett!

  9. Al is news because he continues to get a large Gannett paycheck and because he is funneling ridiculous amounts of Gannett money to his family members while middle class reporters are being let go because of the "trying economic times." Boy, you flamers really are getting desperate.

But I feel compelled to explain on the off chance you actually trick somebody into buying into your flawed reasoning.

  10. I think most of us will breathe a sigh of relief when you (I hope) return to moderating the comments to remove The Troll.

He's obsessive. You'd be doing Gannett a favor. He has real work he should be doing at the paper where I believe he works in top management.

To an earlier poster, I think the first "Neuharth" is adopted, no genetic resemblence. I hope Jim posts a picture of Al and his love child side by side. It's quite striking, I think, and makes it remarkable he continues to deny she's his daughter.

That must really pain Rosamunda. Besides Al's psychopathy of denying the obvious, it's a sadistic thing to do to anyone, let alone your own flesh and blood.
