USA Today and Food Network celebrity chef Rachael Ray have teamed up to sponsor this month's March Menu Mania, a recipe contest featuring one contender's Man Dip for man dates. Mmmm, Manwiches, maybe? (And you say my boyfriend Sparky and I are all hat and no cattle?!)Earlier: USAT guards First Amendment right to Man Dip
Related: The famously politically incorrect Brokeback Mountain grocery shopping list. Who the heck is Sparky, anyway? Plus, more Gannett Blog TV episodes on our YouTube channel
I'm trying to earn $6,000 quarterly, mostly through sponsorships of $5 per reader, plus limited ad sales. Please use the "Donate" tool in the green rail, upper right. Or mail cash/checks payable to: Jim Hopkins, 584 Castro St. #823, San Francisco, Calif., 94114-2594.
Thanks for the laugh to start my post-furlough work week!
ReplyDeleteI think that this post should have a link to The Des Moines Register story about 20 kids being suspended from an Iowa high school for a Manwich-related food fight that broke out in the cafeteria. The sauce stained ceiling tiles and walls, requiring repainting and replacement. Must have been BAD Manwiches!
ReplyDeleteOh, my bad.
ReplyDeleteThe food fight was over "Sloppy Joes" and not Manwiches!
Even worse.

BTW, the comments are interesting.
"Ah caint quit you, Gannett Blog!"
ReplyDelete@ 12:32: Too funny.
ReplyDeleteI cannot get the phrase 'man dip' out of my head. It's in there like a scar.
ReplyDeleteIt's Rachael Ray.
ReplyDeleteEr ... WTF was that ?!?
