This looks like a single- source story about something that's highly controversial---tax giveaways.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't Gannett usually include comments/reactions from tax payers when it prints these kind of stories?
200 jobs, 55 finance, any idea what positions they are consolidating in Indy?
ReplyDeleteI wonder how aggressively you cover state and local government when you are seeking tax breaks and concessions?
ReplyDeleteNow this Gannett move tops them all. If you think you can walk away from Gannett, think again. Seems that's impossible now that the company, by asking for state training grants and a local tax abatement, seems to be going after your tax dollars.
ReplyDeleteCurious to know if there are other states besides Indiana where tax payers are being forced to see these kinds of requests from Gannett.
Are the other chains doing this? Is this new?
