Regarding newly named Florida Today Editor Bob Stover -- a member the "Little Rock mafia" rising to influential Gannett jobs -- a reader says: "You give the Gannett flack repeated floggings for failing to answer questions. So, I am asking YOU: what's with all the trepidation surrounding Ark.? It was a major GCI event, and given the rise of some of the players -- which YOU brought up -- seems worth a comprehensive airing. And why is it OK to allow public beatings for some, and then go all noble over some Gazette doings? Or are you simply protecting friends?"

Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."
