I'm blogging from Paris this afternoon as Romenesko readers follow news of Gannett's plunging stock and last month's dizzying revenue decline. I expect to return to my summer '08 home of Ibiza early Friday morning, when I'll resume a more normal posting schedule.

Oh, I am envious! We just spent 5 days(not nearly long enough) in Paris. We stayed in the Marais as well. What a great neighborhood--fabulous cafes, people watching, shopping, bakeries, etc, etc, etc.
