  1. Would love to know who was let go yesterday from HNT adv. I was let go last year and throughly enjoyed last night when the HNT called my house to ask why I cancelled my paper and would I be interested in renewing it. The second I said I was layed off he said we will remove you from our list.

  2. Does anyone know definitely whether advertisers are told that their ads are outsourced to India? It seems that many very patriotic businesses might want to know about this situation.

  4. I don't believe that the location of ad production has ever been of interest to the advertiser. However, knowing about outsourcing to India or any other country might piss off some, if they knew. But which idiot ad sales rep would want to bring up the subject?

"Digicol, as stated in the email you all received earlier, should be back up by Thursday."

No surprise here - didn't happen!

  6. 3:04 P.M. Doesn't need to be sales rep who tells them! A laid-off and disgruntled ex-employee would be delighted to spread the good news!

  7. 8:18 PM, Don't really think advertisers would care much as long as their ads are done the way the (advertiser) wants them. Afterall, before they go to their businesses they probably stop at Dunkin' Donuts and deal with Indians (no offense meant) anyway.
