Yo -- building news. Let us have it!
ReplyDeleteThe windows need washing and the door to the men's room sticks. It makes a huge noise when it opens. It seems as if the leak in the roof is finally fixed, but the temperature in the newsroom is 10 degrees higher than advertising. That's about all from the building.
ReplyDeleteWTF are you talking about do the floors need to be waxed. You cant eat off them or you just cant see yourself.
ReplyDelete"NEW JERSEY ROCKS"
ReplyDeleteBUT THE PAPERS SUCK.
Lets hear from some of the
Courier Post slaves.
Courier post slave checking in. Nothing new to report because the situation remains the same. It's sad.
ReplyDelete^i feel ya^
ReplyDeletethe courier post is diseased.
the environment is awful.
I NEED A NEW JOB.
i hope to have one in the next
week or so!
F-THE-CP and all the
broken people that work here.
Hey NJ rocks. What's going on in your neck of the woods???
ReplyDeleteNot all of the people at the courier post are "broken" as 1:25 PM today said. There are still and were many really good dedicated people who worked at this newspaper. What is so sad is what remains are people who are so down and sick of the environment. The "management" of this paper is so terrible. Especially the AD, the numerous incompetent "managers" who report to this major loser, the clueless Tommy H. whose best attribute is kissing the publishers butt and trimming the bushes on the property. Then there's the EE...not much to say because he's truly not much. A reject from several ofther Gannett papers. Why is it that in the past when revenue falls they (Gannett) get rid of the AD and sales manager(s) but here they keep the same losers around. The place is a vast wasteland of ignorant people. Still lots of speculating about the Philly Inquirer taking over printing and delivery to futher cut costs. Will be interesting.
ReplyDelete'The place is a vast wasteland of ignorant people.'
ReplyDeleteThat would be you 5:27... In case you can't read or don't follow the news, newspaper revenues are down all over. We know who you are and wish you would leave. The rest of us at the CP would be better off...
^true^
ReplyDeleteid say 10% of the people left
at the courier post are good,
hard working people.
the rest are worthless and "broken".
hopefully in the next round
of layoffs management will fire based
on job performance and not personal
opinions they may have for the
worker. they fired
alot of good people in december
and kept some real stinkers!
4/13/2009 6:04 PM
ReplyDeleteyou have some brown stuff
on your nose.
Why is it that almost everything employees write about the Couier Post could be written about the Courier News, like almost word for word?
ReplyDeleteI'd say more than 10% are good hard working people who care (excluding 5:27 and 6:14) and just want to do a good job. I am just so tired of all the whiners. If you don't like it leave, but you won't cause it doesn't matter where you work you are just whiners....
ReplyDeleteI agree with 6:19....
ReplyDeleteOh, 6:19 PM.... Your brainwashing has been a very sad result of your work at Gannett. Poor thing!
ReplyDelete^id say^
ReplyDeletethey are some legitimate complaints.
by calling someone a "whiner" your
just illustrating your ignorance
and being condescending toward the
opinions of others.
Hey 6:25, you missed the point. Gannett is what it is and I would by no means defend....
ReplyDeleteI am talking about the people I work with every day. You can honestly say only 10% of the people who work at any paper are good people whether CP or anywhere else? A bit idiotic don't ya think?
"Oh, 6:19 PM.... Your brainwashing has been a very sad result of your work at Gannett. Poor thing"!
ReplyDeletefor sure.
"You can honestly say only 10% of the people who work at any paper are good people whether CP or anywhere else? A bit idiotic don't ya think"?
ReplyDeletei cant speak for other papers but it
is very true about the courier post.
6:35 - does that include your own department?
ReplyDeletefunny I'm not in management and I think there are a lot of friggin whiners who write more on this blog than do their jobs so jerks like me have to make up the work. So excuse me if I can't stay and chat some of us have work to do loser....
ReplyDelete"6:35 - does that include your
ReplyDeleteown department"?
oooooh yeah, there are only 3 or
4 hard working people in
CP art department. the manager
is worthless as well.
the rest are to busy on the
cell phone planning their weekend
or bragging about their kids.
I thought the art department manager got the axe?
ReplyDelete"funny I'm not in management and I think there are a lot of friggin whiners who write more on this blog than do their jobs so jerks like me have to make up the work. So excuse me if I can't stay and chat some of us have work to do loser"....
ReplyDeleteyour on your way to management
for sure. now get back to work!
"I thought the art department
ReplyDeletemanager got the axe"?
no, the assistant manager did.
flip is still kissing the
water boys butt! he bends over daily.
its fun to watch.
so what's going on at app today?
ReplyDeleteDearest Cherry Hill Courier Post
ReplyDeleteTrash:
The rest of NJ is getting tired of reading your constant childishness. Would a few of you, once again, poop on the floor so we have more interesting news from y'all!
Craig & Family
Just about every newspaper's front page today had the rescue of the captainb from Somali pirates.
ReplyDeleteThe APP had a huge picture from the boardwalk promenade. With a tease to the pirate story.
Couldn't they at least have started the international story that will have international implications on the front page, Townes?
Local news is important, but that kind of front-page decision is best for a weekly.
the editorial dept at the CP
ReplyDeletepooped on the bathroom floor when they were not getting paid
for overtime.
and the art department at the CP
pooped on the bathroom floor the
day after they announced
outsourcing to india.
jouvinile best describes the
courier post for sure.
Dear 6:04, there are quite a few of us who feel the same way about the jerks in our paper but everyone is busy kissing asses to keep their jobs and showing phoney enthusiasm for the dickheads running the place. Get real...everyone knows about the slowdown in the media business but there are things that go on and don't go on in Cherry Hill that continue to go on from wayyyyyyyyy back.
ReplyDeleteShit for everyone in NJ
ReplyDeleteD.ear 6:04, or Melissa, thanks for the recognition
ReplyDeletelol you people are too funny.
ReplyDeleteYou all bitch about your job, yet instead of job searching you're busy complaining about your co-workers and managers? Get real man.
If you have such a big problem with your job shouldn't you search for a new one in order to be happy?
I'm happy at my job, I love the team I work with. Sure my boss can be a pain in the ass some times, but I don't let it bother me for more than 20 minutes because it's pointless.
Do yourselves a favor, work smarter not harder. And if you're still unhappy about your job then leave. It's the best thing for you.
And no, I don't kiss ass. And no I don't drink the kool-aid. I'm just a guy who likes his company and friends.
9:58 PM--- WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD ARE YOU DRINKING, SNORTING OR PUFFING?????????????????
ReplyDelete10:19, you must be a middle-aged journalist.
ReplyDeleteEnough said.
Haha - loser.
