Quotable: Analyzing the annual report, Part 2

Old habits die hard. So, clip 'n' save: This may come in handy if your publisher overhears you using the wrong term. Number of times the following words appear in the recently released 2007 Annual Report:

  • The Information Center: 13
  • Newspaper or newspapers: 421

  1. We still refer to ourselves as the local newspaper. It's just that one of the major content generating departments in the newspaper is no longer called the "newsroom" but is now called the Local Information Center.
