Al Neuharth is the pot calling the kettle black

Gannett's legendary retired CEO doesn't much like former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw's new book, Boom! Al Neuharth compares it unfavorably to Brokaw's famous best-seller. "It's overwritten and underedited,'' Neuharth writes in his weekly USA Today column this morning. "Its 611 pages could have been better told in something like the 390 pages Brokaw used for The Greatest Generation."

Underedited? This from a man who claims prime USA Today real estate because, I suspect, he's got a deal guaranteeing it?

  1. You should go to USA TODAY web site, and read the comments> The one written by the guy with the big fish eating the little fish, is interesting?
