A Gannett Blog tipster wrote Tuesday that USA Today may be laying off staffers. "Lots of nervous people here today,'' my tipster says. "Word is that several IT, marketing and Flight employees laid off. The so-called 'newsroom reorganization' announcement has been delayed because of issues with the 2008 budget. We're bracing for a hard landing."
USA Today employees: Can anyone confirm or add detail? And what's the "newsroom reorganization" this tipster is talking about? Please E-mail Gannett Blog -- or leave a note in the comments section, below. And look for me on AIM; my screen name is gannettblog.
