  2. Lafayette LA Judi's office has put a note out that if YOU pay HER $1 she will tell your coworker that you love them, WTF, I can do this on my own, everyone here is on the floor laughing at this foolishness, with the way we are going to the dogs we needed this laugh

    1. I'll keep my $1 and give it to JESUS who is LOVE!

    2. Dollar days in Lafayette come on by. Too funny.

    3. $1 for love. DAM. What will she think of next? Am I getting a RIF?

    4. First of all, prove that this is happening. That is the most insane post I've ever read. Get a clue. I'll bet you my check against yours that nothing like that came out of the publisher's office. Not this one, not anywhere in Gannett for that matter!

    5. Sorry it is true. I work here and just keep quite.

    6. Her office put out a valentine request to show a co-worker you love them with a prize. I would assume the $1 pays the cost. Morale is very low here so most employees not all are not interested. Judi did not send it but it did come from her office. If you want it pay the $1 if not do nothing. I do not want it so I will do nothing.

    7. None of this is happening. Don't fall for the crap some people are trying to shovel.

    8. That cannot be true. Seriously? So why isn't anybody talking about the regional editor who does nothing?

  3. How is Judi going to tell anyone anything because she only comes off the high floor to go home or to stand in front of us to tell us what she wants us to hear. Judi how about you getting out and mingle with the employees. YOU CANNOT BUY LOVE!

  4. This sounds nothing like the Judi that I knew - and enjoyed working with - at the Clarion-Ledger. Is she now an example of Gannett metamorphosis?

    1. Not everyone enjoyed working with Judi at The Clarion-Ledger. Ask those that were forced to quit under her watch.

    2. People quit (or were asked to move on) under her watch because they didn't do their jobs! That's different from a RIF. I'm wonding if you should be on the Blog during work hours... might be a performance issue like this that is impacting profits! BOOM!

    3. I worked for Judi. She's tough and she's fair.

    5. Judi should thank her lucky stars every day that Josh Awtry was available and willing to come to Fort Collins.

    6. Yes, Judi recruited Josh and a number of other very good people in Ft Collins. They all contributed to the success. Good for her and good for The Coloradoan.

  5. It's her way of putting "fun" in the business place! Must be related to Valentine's Day! Much better than the 6 hours of daily meetings my paper is experiencing! How can we do business?

  6. Did USA Today lay off employees today?

    1. I'm now told at least six were laid off, including two people I know very well.

    1. I guess we're a little closer to that glorious day when men don't even notice when women show a little bit of boobie. I can't wait!

    2. A shameful capitulation to the unholy alliance of prudery and political correctness. Even more shockingly, why is the Freep anti-science?

  9. Judi just wants results, fast. In Louisiana that means put up or shut up

    2. Not seeing any results in Louisiana. Ain't nobody gonna fix this mess that was created when we moved into LH's group. Missing the sensible leadership by CH every day. Ain't nobody sensible left running this company or Louisiana for that matter. The proof is in the numbers.
