Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
ReplyDeleteand do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55: 11

ReplyDeleteThere's another head shaker today on the USA Today site, a promo for a Newser story on people eating guinea pigs.
ReplyDeleteReally.
Newser represents cheap content for the 24/7 news engine. Pretty awful studf, but its Kramer's buddy, Michael Wolff's operation. Talk about a conflict of interest. Kramer sits on Newser's board. We pay Wolff to write a column. Does anyone see something wrong here?
ReplyDeleteI don't think that's widely known, 951pm. It does smell.
ReplyDeleteVERY interesting 9:51. So many conflicts there I don't know where to begin. Is it possible Wolf kicks back to Kramer, too? Definitely worth a closer look Jim.
ReplyDeleteAnd this, my friends, is what your once proud newspaper has become. Welcome to the new world of journalism...
