Facility consolidation non-cash charges totaled $5.1 million ($3.1 million after tax or $0.01 per share) reflecting primarily accelerated depreciation costs associated with the transfer of production activities. Workforce restructuring charges in our Publishing segment of $9.7 million ($5.8 million after tax or $0.02 per share) reflect principally the impact of employee acceptances during the second quarter of an early retirement plan announced earlier this year. So all these ridiculous hires at Usa Today advertising/marketing are doing nothing but yammering about themselves? Where are the results ????
