A small but growing number of Gannett Bloggers have been posting comments about layoffs in production and circulation today at sites including Louisville, Ky., and Jackson, Miss.
For example, Anonymous@3:22 p.m. wrote: "I just heard the production manager for Jackson, MS was laid off. Any other layoffs taking place?"
These sounds like some of the cuts promised when the mammoth Gannett Publishing Services division was launched in September.
