Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

ReplyDelete...Does anybody have a list of FaceBook pages for some of Gannett's top people? ...
ReplyDeleteUm, how about typing in their names?
Wow.
7:32, I think what 5:23 meant is that, first, they might not know the names of all of Gannett's "top people," so typing in their names would be difficult.
ReplyDelete5:23, a good place to start gather all the names is with Gannett's highly propagandized homepage (www.gannett.com). Click on "Who We Are," "Board of Directors." One can also click on "Management Team."
More of the elite can be found tucked away under "Careers." Click on "Leadership and Diversity" and then on "Leadership and Diversity Council."
This should give you a complete list of names to enter into Facebook for their profiles.

Newsday making push in Westchester - and Journal News staff has been decimated. good luck
ReplyDelete8:59 p.m. That's funny. I've been an editor for over five years, and I don't make close to the "median" of a news reporter. Take that figure -$10,000 and and subtract a couple thousand more.
ReplyDeleteLast year, we got a 1 percent raise. This year, no raises. What about you guys?
Re No. 2 on the list provided at 8:59 -- I bet Art Vandelay makes more than that!
ReplyDelete7;32 Not every Gannett's power pretender, has a FB deal in their own name. Then in cases, were other people have the same name, one would want to make sure, they got the right one. Plus, I want a list, to see if that list matches a list that is already knowed.
