Tell us what CEO Dubow says in today's audiocast

Dubow
Gannett chief executive Craig Dubow addresses the troops today in an audiocast set to start at 1 p.m. ET. He's expected to talk about Friday's weaker-than-expected third-quarter financial report, as well as other GCI news. Dubow's team also is soliciting questions from employees. Gannett Bloggers, as well, have been suggesting questions, too.

His remarks come shortly after three hours before stock markets close, indicating he's not planning to make any big news that might affect GCI's stock price. Those shares, meanwhile, recently traded for $12.52, down 33 cents, or 2.6%, after plunging 8.8% on Friday. Today, two analysts issued cautions on GCI's prospects.

Yes...uneventful because he says little and does even less.

  6. Oh fancy me, I have to sit a spell and recover from the gales of laughter brought on by your stunning wit and rapier repartee.

  7. Few comments because there were few listeners. No one gives a shit what Dubow says.

  8. I listened to the archived version while I did other things. Pretty droll. Glittering generalities, none of the things on Jim's list were really addressed, except maybe the paywalls.

  9. He is clearly medicated. Not looking good for Dubow. Totally out of touch.

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."
