Take note, Gannett regulatory documents junkies

As early as today, Gannett could file its third-quarter financial report with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. This 10-Q, unlike the earnings statement issued two weeks ago, offers far more detail about the company's finances. Once it is filed, a copy should be available among other SEC documents in the investor relations section of Corporate's website. (Here's the second-quarter 10-Q.)

  2. I'm guilty too, and I'm proud of it. Speaking of documents, remember when Gannett got permission to withhold some information that might have otherwise been public? I think it was related to Saradakis and digital stuff. Was there a time limit on that? In other words, when can that information that was then deemed proprietary be viewed by the shareholders and public, or is it forever a great big Gannett secret?

  3. Indeed, it related to digital revenue targets. And I doubt it will ever see the light of day.

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."
