It reminds me more of one of those bad SM movies we saw in college, where the mistress makes the round to inspect the damage and the wounds before pressing on with the torture.

ReplyDeleteMore like The Thing, which no one ever sees, knowing only that it's killing your colleagues one by one.
ReplyDeleteI can't understand why so many very employable people sit around waiting for The Thing to get them next. Sure the economy sucks, but people with skills -- and I don't mean those skills peculiar to the newspaper industry -- should have found their way to a company with a future and positive work environment by now. You owe it to yourself.
