Stevens Point | Diaper caper drives web traffic

Traffic is likely sizzling today on the Stevens Point Journal's website, after leading gossip blog Gawker linked to the Wisconsin paper's story about a 20-year-old man's sentencing this week to 30 months probation, after being arrested for trying to steal dirty diapers from an area home last September.

A diaper fetishist, Dillon Makuski was convicted of possession of burglary tools after he was detained by a homeowner after he entering the home in nearby Amherst. A Portage County Sheriff's deputy found six dirty diapers in his pockets. Makuski must also undergo a psycho-sexual examination and serve 200 hours of community service. "According to the criminal complaint," the paper's Wednesday story says, "Makuski entered the house because he likes to wear diapers and thought there might be some in the house."
