The caption from The Tennessean's front page today says: Bellevue residents continue to clean out their homes after the flood. Many have already received aid from FEMA, a sharp contrast to the delays in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Photo by Shelley Mays, Tennessean. (More aerial photos.)

Great photos - once again, if we had a better slideshow player, this would have more impact. I don't understand the reasoning behind making the photo 1/10th of my screen. It's supposed to be a slideshow, right?
ReplyDeleteI know, I know, ya gotta get the ads in there, but there is a tremendous amount of wasted space that could be set to display these detailed images, which would result in a significant improvement to the reader's viewing experience.
Look at how the WX Post/Interactive, NY Times, Miami Herald and others do slideshows.
