  1. Many papers, however, did not have news of the vote since deadlines are so early due to off-site printing. Imagine a reader getting the paper this morning after hearing the news. What do they think if it's not in the paper some 8 hours later? This is how loyal readers and paid subscribers transition to the free online service.
