When cleaning falls victim to budget cuts . . .

"At our Wisconsin site,
our mascot is the dust bunny."

  1. The CN Production Manager is the mascot at that site. What a doll!

  2. What should be Crystal Palace's mascot?

  3. I couldn't help but chuckle at the comment about dust bunnies.
I know that newsroom budgets have been cut to the bone. In Cincinnati, the condition of things like the men's rooms and the ability to replace things like cameras and chairs is just plain sad.

  4. At our Wisconsin site, there's crud on the women's bathroom walls, one stall in each bathroom doesn't work, we have black crap on the ceiling tiles and many many water stains, and there's usually an odd, disturbing odor in the newsroom. Kind of like gas mixed with chemicals.

  5. Larry St. Cyr or the blue ball on the 11th floor can be the crystal palaces mascot
