    frankly, my dear, i don't give a damn about anderson cooper's orientation or that of anyone else in media unless and until it diminishes their news judgment. (and, by the way, in 40+ years of newspapering, i saw plenty of homophobia affecting co-workers' news judgment, personnel decisions, etc.)
