Readers attempting to post comments will be greeted by the message, above, saying that only team members can post here. (I am the only team member.) From that point forward, you'll be able to view all posts and comments published by midnight Thursday. But I won't allow any new ones to be added.
Management may move the current layoffs into higher gear as soon as today. Thanks for everything, Jim. It's a shame you're doing away with the site. Though I no longer work for Gannett I like keeping up because I have friends who remain. You put the company on edge, and now there's one less watchdog and person keeping track of layoffs.
ReplyDeleteNote: I've decided to allow for 24 hours of wiggle room, depending on when notification memos start coming in. (I'm not totally heartless, folks.)
