Jackson | Foreign press, online and in print

Ibiza is six hours ahead of New York City, and nine hours ahead of Los Angeles, where Michael Jackson died last night. Plus, Ibiza is an island, so I doubt we got the latest editions. A rotating selection. This is from the U.K.'s Sun, a tabloid:

    Given the # of comments on your group of Michael Jackson items, possibly you've misread your audience's level of interest. I know, I know, it's your Gannett blog so you can do whatever you want, etc.

    I just looked at a local paper - not Gannett - for today, and there was no mention - zero - about Michael jackson's death on the front page. There was just a brief story inside. And no, there was no huge local breaking story dominating the front.

    That is amazing!

    Wonder how many other papers today can be nominated for the "clueless Hall of Fame"?
