An independent journal about the Gannett Co. and the news industry's digital transition
Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

Given the # of comments on your group of Michael Jackson items, possibly you've misread your audience's level of interest. I know, I know, it's your Gannett blog so you can do whatever you want, etc.
ReplyDeleteThanks. But it's early, and I've posted a lot of stuff, too.
ReplyDeleteI just looked at a local paper - not Gannett - for today, and there was no mention - zero - about Michael jackson's death on the front page. There was just a brief story inside. And no, there was no huge local breaking story dominating the front.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing!
Wonder how many other papers today can be nominated for the "clueless Hall of Fame"?
