Advisory | I'm now rejecting some comments
To a certain repeat Anonymous poster: You're wasting your time. Those heartless comments will never, ever see the light of day here. This is not censorship; it's compassion for your co-workers.

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

Censorship is only acceptable when done with compassion.
ReplyDeleteRe: Exit interview comments on another thread:
ReplyDeleteBased on people close to me who have left, they aren't doing exit interviews anymore. At least, they wouldn't do them a few weeks ago. Anyone else hearing this?
What are you deleting? Personal comments/attacks? Info on layoffs? I know I wrote something on the latter that never showed up (and was from very good authority)
Huh?
ReplyDeleteI didn't have an exit interview, even if I did I wouldn't have wasted my time. I think they hear the same old lines over and over now.
ReplyDeletedid the exit interviews really ever matter? seriously.
