Reposting these numbers here, for those who may have missed them yesterday...
This is just sad sad sad....APP Sunday circ was once 225,000+ and we had second highest daily circ to the Ledger...wonder how all the NJ papers rank now, if APP still second largest daily in NJ?? Anyone know??
Several people have asked for latest ABC circ numbers for several Gannett papers. Here they are:
ASBURY PARK PRESS, NEPTUNE (MONMOUTH CO.) SUN DLY 170,744 ASBURY PARK PRESS, NEPTUNE (MONMOUTH CO.) SAT M DLY 127,242 ASBURY PARK PRESS, NEPTUNE (MONMOUTH CO.) AVG M (M-F) DLY 123,949
COURIER-POST, CHERRY HILL-CAMDEN (CAMDEN CO.) SAT M DLY 63,301 COURIER-POST, CHERRY HILL-CAMDEN (CAMDEN CO.) AVG M (M-F) DLY 58,515 COURIER-POST, CHERRY HILL-CAMDEN (CAMDEN CO.) SUN DLY 72,524
HOME NEWS TRIBUNE, EAST BRUNSWICK (MIDDLESEX CO.) M (M-SAT) DLY 42,243 HOME NEWS TRIBUNE, EAST BRUNSWICK (MIDDLESEX CO.) SUN DLY 48,769
JOURNAL, VINELAND-MILLVILLE (CUMBERLAND CO.) AVG M (M-F) DLY 15,459 JOURNAL, VINELAND-MILLVILLE (CUMBERLAND CO.) SAT M DLY 16,999
FYI Monmouth and Ocean counties were two of the largest growth areas in the entire country. So I realize all newspapers are in a decline but the APP has dropped like a rock. Probably has nothing to do with the great leadership of Bobby Collins and Skippy. I think they invented news or at least they think they did.
