  1. AH, here's our forum. Looking at the state NJPA results, the DR clearly outshone the CN and HNT newsrooms. That should matter when the editorial consolidation progresses beyond the ongoing centralization of copy desks. The best writers should be doing the statewide GA coverage for Gannett NJ.

  2. NEW JERSEY.. This is not the time to stop writing on this blog-- unless, of course, you have just given up and plan to cave in passively to the treatment you receive. Having us as willing participants in our own oppression is just what THEY (Dubow et al) have counted on. Are we letting them win?

  4. I wonder if two Jersey guys, the ones with bad haircuts, are going to the board of directors meeting Tuesday. If the Haircuts go, it will be interesting to see if they are just as arrogant as in Jersey or yapping puppies in front of the board. Bow wow!

Can you guess who the Haircuts are?

  10. NJPA results are in and the winners are: not HNT, CN, or APP artists because no one BOTHERED to enter any of the outstanding ads created last year by their outstanding & talented current or layed off artists! SHAME ON ALL OF YOU! Who are responsible for not entering any ads! The contest was the only source of a small recognition for so many unheralded talents.

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."
