  1. This is how you write a letter? I'm glad you aren't my writing coach!

    If I was to write a letter to anyone I would include more than a link to an article. I would write specifically what I wanted the reader to read. And I would get to the point and not provide some rambling diatribe on an issue that isn't worth his time. It might be worth it to actually write a letter to the publisher of that paper.
