From Alaska Airlines Magazine, advertising condominiums 20 miles northwest of Honolulu on Oahu, where The Honolulu Advertiser is now losing money to the island's economically devastated economy. (This is why I could never do traditional public relations.)
Announcing the final sales event for Oahu's most elegant beachfront property. All remaining villas will be priced to sell at this one time priority selection event. Your selection priority is based on the order in which your Priority Reservation is received!
At the Priority Selection Event, says the reservation agreement, each purchaser, based on his/her Priority Position, will be given the opportunity, subject to availability, to select one apartment and sign a Sales Contract and related sales documents ("Sales Contract"), on Seller’s standard forms, with respect to the selected apartment.

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

"...the economically devastated economy": Now that's what I call writin' with a capital W!
ReplyDeleteSo what kind of public relations could you do, Jim?
ReplyDeleteI might consider flacking for non-profits. But even that would test my patience.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Hawaii is such a niche market. Everybody wants a condo in paradise.
ReplyDeleteHow can we make Gannett equally attractive? Get people to fight for the exclusive stock?
Three hour tour, anyone?
