ReplyDeleteOur publisher said he found out about the furloughs on Friday.
ReplyDeleteMy editor left on furlough this week -- and the people who are filling in for him said they weren't given any heads up.

ReplyDeleteDoes it really matter? They should have waited until the beginning of Period 4. I'm on furlough and can't read my company E-mail. I had to find out here. At least they could have handled the announcement better if everyone, including directors, were in the office.
