Early trade: Gannett sets record trading low

The company's stock just traded for $1.88 a share, down 3.6%, as investors "tested" the record $1.95 closing low, set only yesterday. Gannett's fall comes as broader stock market indexes soar sharply higher. The Dow Jones industrials are up nearly 5%. The S&P-500 index is up more than 6%.

  1. This record isn't "new," it's been kept for years.
