Program note: Blog is experiencing some outages

Some readers have found a nearly blank Gannett Blog when calling up the site in recent days: You've seen only the site name and the right-hand rail. This is caused by a technical issue known to Blogger, the Google-owned software platform I use for publishing.

    I was earlier today, about 7 a.m. Central time.

    All is well now, however.
