Post-GNS, how will we phrase the new bylines?
Reading Mike Lopresti's column today, about professional entertainer Alex Rodriguez, I kept wondering how the new bylines will read, once Gannett News Service is completely kaput. Would it be: By Mike Lopresti, ContentOne?

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

We've been told the byline will be just "Gannett."
ReplyDeleteHere's my question: when GNS goes away and is officially 100% replaced by C1, I'm sure all the newspaper websites will automatically make the switch... but how long before GCI decides to tell Broadcast what to do to make all the GNS widgets work with C1?
