attendants, raptured by feelings
of escape and transformation."

In nearby La Quinta, newspaper division chief Bob Dickey is competing as an amateur in this week's Bob Hope Chrysler Classic golf tournament. 1. And of course, you know that he is staying there, that the company is paying for it, and that the company paid the full $25,000 grand, right?

  2. As a former Gannetteer, I am watching with horror as this inept and deceitful management destroys the company. I am certainly not surprised at this latest revelation...but those at Gannett who allow execs to spend what probably amounts to six-figures on a golf tourney (under the guise of advertiser "goodwill") while families who have a hard time making ends meet give up a week's pay "for the good of the company" are buying themselves a special place in Hell!
