Kiwi! A video for those of you up late tonight

Kiwi! is a bittersweet story about risking everything, including life itself, in pursuit of a dream (in this case, the ability to fly). YouTube says it's been viewed 19.9 million (yes, million) times -- making it one of the website's all-time most-viewed videos. There are more of my video favorites on Gannett Blog TV's YouTube channel.

  5. That was really really cute. It's not depressing, it's inspiring, in the mode of: if life hands you lemons, make lemonade...Who did put that together??

  6. Last night, this put a smile on my face after a long day of hopelessness (thanks, Dubow, for visiting my paper!).

  7. What can I say? I posted this video last night to entertain late-night workers, with the idea I'd take it down after a few hours. But every time I do that, readers seem to want it back up.

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."
