Kiwi! A video for those of you up late tonight
Kiwi! is a bittersweet story about risking everything, including life itself, in pursuit of a dream (in this case, the ability to fly). YouTube says it's been viewed 19.9 million (yes, million) times -- making it one of the website's all-time most-viewed videos. There are more of my video favorites on Gannett Blog TV's YouTube channel.

Jim says: "Proceed with caution; this is a free-for-all comment zone. I try to correct or clarify incorrect information. But I can't catch everything. Please keep your posts focused on Gannett and media-related subjects. Note that I occasionally review comments in advance, to reject inappropriate ones. And I ignore hostile posters, and recommend you do, too."

OK, now I'm really depressed.
ReplyDeleteit's darling. fatalistic, but darling.
ReplyDeleteVery, nice. How old was the creator. Good work.
ReplyDeleteYikes Jim, aren't things sad enough right now?
ReplyDeleteThat was really really cute. It's not depressing, it's inspiring, in the mode of: if life hands you lemons, make lemonade...Who did put that together??
ReplyDeleteLast night, this put a smile on my face after a long day of hopelessness (thanks, Dubow, for visiting my paper!).
ReplyDeletewtf?
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? I posted this video last night to entertain late-night workers, with the idea I'd take it down after a few hours. But every time I do that, readers seem to want it back up.
ReplyDeleteoh, I get it!
ReplyDeleteIt's a metaphor for working for Gannett!
LOL!
I don't get it. I guess I'm obtuse. Could someone explain?
