How I'm getting trained on video editing software
I paid Apple $99 for a year's worth of one-to-one training: an hour a week, every week for a year, at the Apple store in San Francisco. That's less than $2 an hour to learn everything I need to know about iMovie software and just about everything else Apple makes.

Jim,
ReplyDeleteAre you using the IMOVIE software that came on the computer or did you buy the full version?
Photoshop and greenscreen in your iMovie future....
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see you and Neuharth on the beach in Spain, him writing the column, you on your blog... both going for that darkest tan title.
Then again, maybe I can wait...
That's more than USA Today spent to train me before sending me out to do video blogs.
ReplyDelete7:15 a.m.: I'm using the version that came with my MacBook.
ReplyDeleteA little time and elbow grease could have saved you that money you'd probably need now that the checks are running out. It's not a hard program at all. In trying times you have to watch how you spend your money.
ReplyDeleteJim,
ReplyDeleteLook into Final Cut Express. Much better than IMovie.
And if the money keeps coming in – Final Cut Pro.
